After high school, she attended Alcorn State University on a full scholarship to play basketball. Over the course of her time there she received numerous honors: SWAC Rookie of the Year, SWAC All-Rookie Team, All-Tournament Team and she lead the conference in 3pt field goal percentage. Coach Daisha helped lead her team to winning multiple conference championships and led her team to making the women’s program first NCAA tournament appearance.

In 2003 Coach Daisha began playing tennis in the U.S. Virgin Islands. While in St. Croix, she and her partner won their very 1st doubles tournament in 2003. She continues to play ALTA and USTA. She plays for a Division Champion team out of the South Fulton Tennis Center.
