With an outstanding background as an athlete and coach with over 12 years of teaching experience, Coach Daisha brings both her passion and her expertise to the court, helping kids believe & achieve!

Coach Daisha is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas. She grew up playing basketball. Tennis was to be introduced to her while in college. In 1997 she helped lead her basketball team to their first High School Championship in school history. She graduated Hall High School in the top 10 in her class with a 4.0 GPA.

After high school, she attended Alcorn State University on a full scholarship to play basketball. Over the course of her time there she received numerous honors: SWAC Rookie of the Year, SWAC All-Rookie Team, All-Tournament Team and she lead the conference in 3pt field goal percentage. Coach Daisha helped lead her team to winning multiple conference championships and led her team to making the women’s program first NCAA tournament appearance.

In 2003 Coach Daisha began playing tennis in the U.S. Virgin Islands. While in St. Croix, she and her partner won their very 1st doubles tournament in 2003. She continues to play ALTA and USTA. She plays for a Division Champion team out of the South Fulton Tennis Center. Shortly after graduating from Clayton State University in 2005 with a 3.6 GPA, Coach Daisha began working as an educator and tennis instructor.

As an avid tennis player and basketball champion, Coach Daisha knows what it takes to be a winner on and off the court. With well over a decade of experience working with kids, Coach Daisha has her sights on growing the game of tennis by exposing youth to the sport and the value of education.
